The National Assembly delegation of Bac Kan province met with voters in Nghien Loan, Xuan La and An Thang communes.

Attending the meeting were comrade Do Thi Hien, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, member of the Provincial People's Committee.

Delegate Ha Sy Huan, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Bac Kan province, informed voters about the expected content and program of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

At the meeting, the Provincial National Assembly Delegate reported to voters on the expected content and agenda of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly and the issues that the National Assembly will consider and decide at the session. Results of handling and responding to voters' opinions and recommendations from before the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly to the present.

Voters participated in expressing their opinions at the meeting.

After listening to the report, voters of An Thang and Nghien Loan communes expressed their opinions that the State should review the appropriate subjects when implementing Decree 178/2024/ND-CP dated December 31, 2024 on policies and regimes for cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and armed forces in the implementation of the organization of the political system. Too many communes should not be merged into one commune, but only 2 to 3 communes should be merged into one commune to facilitate people to contact and resolve work and administrative procedures.

Leaders of Pac Nam District People's Committee answered voters' opinions on issues under their authority.

The arrangement of commune-level cadres needs to be arranged in a harmonious and reasonable manner to ensure that there are both district and commune cadres to handle the work smoothly. Currently, the power grid has been invested in the villages in An Thang commune, but the wires have not been pulled to some groups of households for use. For example, in Phieng Pen village, the power grid has only been pulled to the village meeting house, people buy wires to pull them home, which is not safe; the electricity is degraded due to the long distance, the wires are small so it is only enough for lighting, and cannot be used for agricultural machines... Voters propose that the State allocate funds to pull the power lines for people with about 65 households in An Thang commune.

Delegate Ha Sy Huan, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Bac Kan province, answered and received voters' opinions and recommendations.

Voters suggested that it is necessary to increase the level of support and forest protection contracts in remote areas. Currently, according to Clause 3, Article 19, Decree 58 dated May 24, 2024 on a number of investment policies in forestry, 1 hectare is supported with 600,000 VND/year, this level is low compared to the actual conditions of forest protection in the locality. Voters want to increase this level to 1.2 million VND/ha/year.

Voters' opinions and recommendations were directly answered by representatives of the Pac Nam District People's Committee, National Assembly deputies and members of the Provincial People's Committee at the meeting. Some opinions beyond the authority were accepted by the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and forwarded to competent authorities for response and consideration./.
