Dien Bien TV - Continuing the thematic supervision program of the Provincial People's Council, on the afternoon of April 18, the Provincial People's Council supervision delegation led by Comrade Mua Thanh Son, Head of the Provincial People's Council's Ethnic Committee, worked with the Center for Agricultural Technology, Natural Resources and Environment under the Department of Agriculture and Environment.

The Center for Agricultural Technology, Natural Resources and Environment is currently managing and operating 13 centralized domestic water supply works, with 13 exploitation teams. The works are regularly maintained and repaired; ensuring a stable supply of domestic water for more than 4,000 households with about 20,000 people; contributing to increasing the rate of rural people using hygienic water from 89% in 2023 to 93% in 2024.

At the meeting, the monitoring delegation requested the Center to clarify a number of issues regarding: Difficulties in receiving centralized domestic water projects from agencies and units after construction investment; Is the fee for rural domestic water use suitable for current practical conditions? Land procedures related to domestic water supply projects and policies to support rural water use prices...

Agreeing on the content of the working session, the Supervisory Delegation requested the Center for Agricultural Engineering, Natural Resources and Environment to continue to pay attention to upgrading, repairing and maintaining the domestic water supply and clean water system; to meet the daily water needs of the people./.
