Toyota brought the Camry GT-S Concept to the 2025 SEMA Show as an engineering-oriented version, to survey customer feedback for the future of the D-class sedan. Based on the 2025 Camry XSE AWD Hybrid, the GT-S focuses on improving the chassis, brakes and aerodynamic efficiency, while the powertrain retains the hybrid configuration.
According to Toyota, this is not just a show car. If it receives positive feedback, a commercial version may be considered in the future.

Sporty look with aerodynamic base
Compared to the Camry XSE, the GT-S Concept impresses with its aggressively designed front bumper, dark grille and new graphics. The Inferno Flare orange paint scheme combined with the all-black hood and roof provides a high contrast, while dark-painted badges and logos reinforce the sporty look.
New aerodynamic body kit and redesigned rear diffuser to accommodate the exhaust system. A small rear wing adds downforce at high speeds. The overall look is more street-oriented but supported by specific hardware changes.

Cabin retains Camry XSE configuration
The GT-S Concept's interior is unchanged from the Camry XSE AWD Hybrid. The car uses a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch central touchscreen located on the dashboard. Toyota has not announced other details for this concept.
Upgraded chassis, big brakes, grippy tires
The concept focuses on the suspension, brakes and tires. The suspension is lowered by 40 mm, using adjustable coilovers, allowing fine-tuning of ride height and damping characteristics. The 20-inch sports wheels are wrapped in performance-oriented Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
The upgraded braking system includes 8-piston front calipers with 365mm discs and 6-piston rear calipers with 356mm discs. This configuration is superior to the standard standard, aiming for better heat resistance and load capacity when operating at high intensity.

The hybrid powertrain remains the same.
The Camry GT-S Concept uses the same 2.5L 4-cylinder hybrid powertrain, with a maximum capacity of 232 horsepower as the Camry XSE AWD Hybrid. Power is transmitted through an ECVT transmission and an on-demand electrically controlled 4-wheel drive system. Driving modes include Sport, Eco, Normal and EV.
With performance tires and lowered suspension, grip and body feedback can be improved depending on driving conditions. However, since power output remains unchanged, any difference in acceleration or top speed (if any) has not been announced by the manufacturer.
Safety and driver assistance technology
Toyota does not mention any differences in active safety or driver assistance compared to the XSE AWD Hybrid. Since it is a concept, the feature configuration may change if the model is developed for commercial use.

Price and positioning if commercialized
Toyota has not announced production plans and prices. If put into production, the GT-S will likely serve as a performance-oriented Camry with upgraded chassis, brakes, and tires, above the mainly aesthetic trim levels. Any production decisions will depend on market feedback.

Conclude
