Attending the event were comrades: Bui Thanh An - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Pham Tuan Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy - Member of the Central Youth Union Executive Committee, Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union; and 190 outstanding delegates.
Established in March 2025, up to now, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has 34 affiliated grassroots Youth Union organizations with 12 grassroots Youth Unions, 22 grassroots Youth Union branches and more than 2,100 union members.
In recent times, grassroots unions and branches have made efforts to stabilize the organization, advise the Party Committees at the same level to organize the implementation of political tasks, as well as actively participate in activities deployed by the Central Youth Union and the Provincial Youth Union. Among them, the following models stand out: One good news every day - one beautiful story every week, Volunteer Saturday, Paperless Office, One digital initiative for each union member...
Speaking at the Congress, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Thanh An emphasized the establishment and operation of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Provincial People's Committee, based on inheriting and developing the traditions and achievements of the Youth Union movement of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc in the past.
The Youth Union has organized many practical activities, suitable to the specific characteristics of administrative agencies and state-owned enterprises, creating many vibrant emulation movements to celebrate the Party congresses at all levels in the past period, as well as tasks related to administrative reform, digital transformation, and participation in building a digital government.
With the action slogan "Aspiration - Intelligence - Courage - Unity - Breakthrough" for the 2025-2030 term, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, Bui Thanh An, requested that in the coming period, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee carefully study the documents, resolutions, and action programs of the 20th Provincial Party Congress and the 1st Provincial People's Committee Party Congress. Implementing these thematic resolutions is a central, overarching, and core political task of the Youth Union organization and each youth member throughout the term.
Furthermore, we must continue to strongly promote the pioneering and creative role of young people in advising and serving state management. They should take the lead in applying science and technology, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and administrative reform. We must strongly and comprehensively innovate organizational methods and foster a pioneering and proactive spirit in addressing difficulties and challenges at the grassroots level.
The Congress announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Nghe An province, term 2025-2030, consisting of 23 members.
