Attending and directing the congress were comrade Tieu Viet Tien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association; comrade Nguyen Truc Ly, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Commune People's Council and 95 delegates representing 2,030 members of 26 branches.

Comrade Tieu Viet Tien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association, presented a symbolic plaque of 2 billion VND from the Farmers' Support Fund to the Farmers' Association of Phan Ngoc Hien commune.

During the past term, the Farmers' Association of Phan Ngoc Hien commune effectively implemented many production models, such as: ecological shrimp farming, two-phase shrimp-crab farming, and palm civet farming, bringing high economic value. The whole commune currently has 7 OCOP products of 3 entities meeting 3-star standards. The Association has established 14 projects from the Farmers' Support Fund, with a total capital of more than 1 billion VND for 92 members to borrow to develop production.

In addition, the association established 14 cooperatives, 54 cooperative groups, a Billionaire Farmer Club with 12 members; built a capital pool fund of more than 124 million VND, supported 85 members to develop the economy, contributing to sustainable poverty reduction. The association also mobilized the construction of 3 gratitude houses, presented 350 gifts worth 135 million VND to members and policy families during holidays and Tet.

In the 2025-2030 term, the Association sets out 14 targets, 3 breakthrough tasks and 7 key solution groups, focusing on developing green economic models, circular economy, and promoting digital transformation in agriculture .

Comrade Tieu Viet Tien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association, gave a speech directing the congress.

In his speech, comrade Tieu Viet Tien requested the Commune Farmers' Association to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; promote propaganda and mobilize members to participate in digital government, digital economy, digital society and digital farmers; support the construction of sustainable economic models, develop OCOP products and local agricultural enterprises.

Comrade Nguyen Truc Ly, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Commune People's Council, emphasized: The Association needs to continue promoting the movement "Farmers compete in production and good business", unite to help each other get rich legitimately, and properly implement the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh : "Make sure the poor have enough to eat; those who have enough to eat are well-off and rich; those who are well-off and rich are richer."

The Congress announced the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Farmers' Association of Phan Ngoc Hien commune, term I, consisting of 25 comrades, the Standing Committee of 7 comrades; Comrade Nguyen Minh Tri was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Phan Ngoc Hien commune, term 2025-2030.
