Lang Son delegation attends the 2025 Singing Contest for People with Disabilities - Northern Region - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

- During two days (May 12-13), the Provincial Red Cross Society (RCS) organized a disabled people's art troupe to participate in the 2025 Singing Contest for the Disabled - Northern Region in Thai Nguyen province.

The 3rd Singing Contest for People with Disabilities in 2025 - Northern Region is organized by the Vietnam Association for the Support of People with Disabilities and Orphans in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism with the theme "Singing from the Heart". The contest has over 160 contestants from 12 delegations of provinces and cities: Bac Giang, Bac Kan, Cao Bang, Hoa Binh, Lang Son, Phu Tho, Quang Ninh, Thai Binh, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Dien Bien, Hai Phong.

Accordingly, the Lang Son delegation participating in the contest included 25 members representing more than 14,200 disabled people in the province. At the program, the delegation participated in 3 performances that were carefully choreographed, staged, and thoroughly rehearsed, including: solo singing the song "Singing from the city named after Him"; solo singing the then song "Duong ve ban em" and trio singing the song "A small family, a great happiness".

At the end of the competition, the organizing committee awarded the first prize to the Thai Nguyen delegation; the second prize to the Quang Ninh delegation and the third prize to the Phu Tho delegation. With 3 entries, the Lang Son delegation received the award for the most active unit participating in the competition and individual awards including: 1 silver medal entry; 2 encouragement awards and 1 impressive family award.

The contest aims to create an environment for cultural exchange, art, entertainment and recreation for people with disabilities, to encourage and motivate people with disabilities to be confident and united in life, thereby discovering and supporting, creating conditions for developing talents, creative abilities and artistic performances for people with disabilities.
