Enterprises accompany the goal of developing Quang Nam quickly and sustainably

Forming a logistics center will ensure sustainable development.

In the period 2003 - 2020, we developed production investment in Chu Lai, starting with automobile assembly and developing spare parts production to increase the localization rate, develop logistics, and at the same time, determined to integrate into the international economy .

During this period, we have achieved many milestones, forming the role and position of a dynamic enterprise of Quang Nam in particular and in a number of industries such as automobiles, mechanical engineering, and supporting industries.

In the automotive industry, THACO is still the market leader with a market share of about 35 - 38% and is continuing its strategy of combining foreign brands to increase the localization rate.

With industrial mechanical support, we have 1 mechanical complex and 22 factories, the number of orders is very large, we are also planning to build 7 new factories to serve export production.

The problem is how to ensure that THACO's development investment in Quang Nam can continue to be sustainable, and the important problem lies in logistics costs.

In parallel with receiving the investment certificate at this planning announcement conference, THACO has gradually invested in the port in the unit's 5-year development strategy (2022 - 2027).

Once the logistics are upgraded, we will study the provincial planning for the Cua Lo dredging project, thereby participating in the bidding to receive the project under the PPP form.

Another advantage to promote container-focused logistics is the opportunity for THACO to develop large-scale agricultural production in Laos, Cambodia, the Central Highlands and develop medicinal material areas to serve the refining hub of Chu Lai.

By the end of this year, we will have about 1,000 tons/day of fresh goods for export, and by 2025 it will increase to about 2,000 tons. That means on average there will be 100 - 200 containers exported every day.

THACO will study investing in branch lines under the BOT model to focus on the transportation route from Southern Laos - Northern Cambodia - Central Highlands to Chu Lai.

The reality of the planning announced today about the vision to 2030 to form a logistics center in the Central region in Quang Nam will be very feasible if Cua Lo is invested and completed early to contribute to solving the problem of logistics costs, thereby attracting many investors to the Central region in general and Quang Nam in particular.

Waiting for legal procedures to be completed to create a breakthrough for the Eastern region

During the period 2006 - 2008, when we started to survey, the land of South Hoi An was still a wild area, it took several hours to travel from Hoi An to the current project area.

Started in 2016, the Nam Hoi An Resort (Hoiana) project is considered one of the “sand paving” projects of Quang Nam province. To date, Hoiana has completed phase 1 of the project with 1,200 luxury rooms, an 18-hole coastal golf course and a world-class high-quality entertainment area.

Although the tourism industry still faces many difficulties, over the past two years, Hoiana has contributed a total of more than 1,000 billion to the state budget; at the same time creating jobs for nearly 3,000 workers in Quang Nam - Da Nang.

To continue creating momentum for the eastern economic zone of Quang Nam, we propose to soon promote the 1/5000 master plan and 1/2000 zoning plan to continue investing in construction and local socio-economic development.

Propose to create conditions to turn Hoiana into a multi-functional coastal resort urban area with diverse infrastructure and services such as schools, international hospitals, commercial centers and high-class conference centers.

From there, it becomes a model project, piloting the implementation of “golden visa” for high-end tourists with long-term stays such as digital nomads, high-tech experts, elderly retired tourists or high-income “young retirees”. This group of tourists will bring revenue to the state budget and great job opportunities for local residents.

As a foreign investor, we hope to receive companionship and support from local and central authorities in quickly resolving issues related to project legality, planning, land, and site clearance.

We are committed to continue investing up to 1 billion USD in the upcoming phases of the project when legal procedures are completed and maximum conditions are created for expanding business activities. We are very eager and always ready to join hands for the development of Quang Nam and the Vietnamese economy in the spirit of "harmonious benefits, shared risks".
