Residents of Son Tung residential area expressed their opinions at the conference on the morning of September 18.

The dialogue recorded 13 opinions and recommendations from Son Tung residents related to many areas; focusing on difficulties in traffic infrastructure such as some unfinished roads, degraded internal roads, damaged bridges, flooding in the community house area and many alleys that have not been concreted. Residents also proposed to soon have a plan to promote the effective use of abandoned agricultural land to avoid waste and contribute to increasing people's income.

  Some issues related to the environment, public hygiene and traffic safety are also of concern. These include slow garbage collection, vehicles parked causing traffic obstruction in front of the ward office, trees blocking the view on the main road, illegal bird trapping; the deterioration of the roof of the TDP Cultural House, and the limited security camera system affecting the work of ensuring security and order...

In addition, some other reflections related to the slow support in disease prevention and control in livestock, especially African swine fever; the situation of businesses occupying land affecting people's lives; and local historical relics not being properly cared for and protected were also brought up at the dialogue.

Party Secretary and Chairman of Phong Thai Ward People's Council, Duong Phuoc Phu, acknowledged and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility, frankness and enthusiasm of the people of Son Tung Residential Area in participating in giving opinions to build the locality. At the same time, he said that the contact and dialogue is an opportunity for the Party Committee and the government to listen to the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of the people, thereby having timely solutions to overcome difficulties, creating consensus, contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc, successfully completing the socio -economic development goals in 2025 and the following years.
