After many years of waiting, the Portuguese women's team has participated in the World Cup for the first time.

In order to boost the morale of coach Francisco Neto's team, the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) has carried out a special campaign with the participation of some members from the men's team.

Specifically, FPF released a series of photos recording Ronaldo and his teammates on the men's national team wearing the uniform of the Portuguese women's national team.

The names appearing in this special photo series include Cristiano Ronaldo, Ruben Dias, Antonio Silva, Raphael Guerreiro, Danilo Pereira, Joao Felix and Diogo Costa.

In this year's tournament, the Portuguese women's team is in group E with the Vietnamese women's team, the US and the Netherlands.

This is an extremely difficult group with the presence of the reigning world champion USA and world runner-up Netherlands.

According to plan, Francisco Neto's students will face the Netherlands (July 23), Vietnam (July 27) and the US (August 1).

Among these, the match with the Vietnamese women's team is probably the easiest for Portugal.
