On the afternoon of July 24th, Mr. Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, met with voters from eight communes and wards of Thai Binh city following the sixth session of the 17th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026. Mr. Hoang Van Thanh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of the City People's Council, along with other delegates from the Provincial People's Council and the City People's Council, attended the meeting.

At the conference, delegates from the Provincial People's Council and the City People's Council reported on the results of the sixth session of the 17th Provincial People's Council and the 22nd City People's Council to the voters. City voters highly appreciated the contents of the sixth session of the Provincial and City People's Councils, which met the requirements and aspirations of the people, especially the question-and-answer session and the resolutions issued by the People's Councils; they hoped that the People's Councils at all levels would continue to innovate and improve the quality of their sessions.

Voters petitioned relevant authorities at all levels to resolve land-related disputes between some households in Vu Lac commune and local businesses; to publicly disclose the planning of projects involving land acquisition from the people; and to expedite the resolution of several complaints and denunciations from citizens. Voters also highly appreciated the thoughtful care and attention given to revolutionary veterans and their families by relevant authorities and agencies in the past.

Comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, delivered a speech at the conference.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee informed about some outstanding results in the province's socio -economic development in the first six months of the year, while also pointing out some limitations and shortcomings, and their causes. He stated that immediately after the sixth session, the Provincial People's Committee organized the implementation of resolutions, key tasks, and solutions for the last six months of 2023 that the Provincial People's Council had issued and set forth at the session.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also responded to and clarified some opinions and suggestions from voters, and assigned the city to consider and resolve opinions and suggestions within its authority. For suggestions outside its authority, he instructed the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council to compile them and submit them to the Provincial People's Council, and forward them to relevant departments and agencies for timely consideration and resolution.
