Dong Ha: Meeting with officials with less than 10 years of service left

Dong Ha City currently has 9 administrative units of wards, with 62 neighborhoods. The city's Party Committee has 73 grassroots party organizations; the total number of party cells directly under the grassroots party committee is 178 with a total of 7,591 party members. The entire city currently has 1,691 cadres, civil servants, public employees, contract workers and part-time ward workers.

There are currently 283 cadres under the management of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee. Of these, 130 are working in administrative agencies, public service units of the city and ward cadres and civil servants, of which 37 have less than 10 years of service as of June 30, 2025.

According to Resolution No. 60-NQ/TW dated April 12, 2025, the 11th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee, the operation of district-level administrative units will end from July 1, 2025 after the Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution and the Law on Organization of Local Government 2025 (amended) takes effect.

According to Conclusion No. 26-KL/TU dated April 23, 2025, the Party Executive Committee of Dong Ha City agreed on the policy of arranging ward-level administrative units, specifically: establishing Dong Ha ward on the basis of merging Wards 1, 3, 4, Dong Giang ward, Dong Thanh ward; establishing Nam Dong Ha ward on the basis of merging Wards 2, 5, Dong Le ward, Dong Luong ward.

At the meeting, officials with less than 10 years of service basically agreed and highly agreed with the Party and State's policy on streamlining political system agencies, reorganizing administrative units and organizing 2-level local governments.

At the same time, it is recommended that superiors pay attention to guiding and supporting the smooth implementation of early retirement procedures, ensuring the benefits and policies, and having a form of recognition and commendation for contributions to the city's development...

Speaking at the meeting, Dong Ha City Party Secretary Le Quang Chien acknowledged and praised the contributions and dedication to the cause of building and developing Dong Ha City of the entire city's cadres in recent years. He highly appreciated the high sense of responsibility of the cadres who voluntarily wrote applications for early retirement to create favorable conditions for the organization and apparatus of the political system.

Regarding the recommendations and proposals, the Standing Committee of Dong Ha City Party Committee has acknowledged and will promptly handle them; it is recommended that agencies and units pay attention to encouraging, guiding and creating favorable conditions for cadres who voluntarily write applications for early retirement to fully enjoy the prescribed regimes and policies.
