Dong Nai will organize the largest hot air balloon festival in the country ever

On April 22, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Nai province coordinated with the Department of Industry and Trade to hold a press conference to provide information about the Dong Nai Ceramic and Hot Air Balloon Festival 2025. This is one of the events in a series of activities organized by Dong Nai province to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Accordingly, the Dong Nai Ceramic and Hot Air Balloon Festival 2025 will take place from April 27-30 at the Provincial Event and Foreign Affairs Center; Son Tien Eco- tourism Area, Nguyen Van Tri Park.

The event aims to promote the history and artistic value of Dong Nai pottery; at the same time introduce the attractive features of hot air ballooning, a green and environmentally friendly sport and tourism.

The festival aims to promote tourism, opening up development opportunities for related services such as food, accommodation and entertainment.

In addition, this is also an opportunity for Dong Nai province to exchange and connect with domestic and international partners, expand cooperation in the fields of culture, trade and tourism, contributing to promoting the local economy.

The Ceramic Festival will include activities such as: Exhibition of unique ceramic art products of Dong Nai and famous ceramic product lines nationwide; discussion on solutions to preserve and develop traditional ceramic craft in the integration period; logo design contest, brand identity of Bien Hoa Traditional Ceramic Festival, Dong Nai; introduction of history, production process and development of Bien Hoa ceramic craft; visit Tan Hanh Ceramic Industrial Cluster.

For the hot air balloon festival, the Festival gathers 50 hot air balloons symbolizing 50 years of Southern Liberation and National Reunification.

Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Nai province, Bui Thanh Nam, said that this is the largest hot air balloon festival ever in our country with many unique activities, including: hot air balloon flying; experience flying; visiting hot air balloons; flower lantern night with lit hot air balloons, creating a magical space...

In the opening ceremony taking place on the morning of April 27, all 50 hot air balloons will fly simultaneously, creating a spectacular and impressive scene.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Nai province, the hot air balloon festival will be held for free, and the organizers will issue tickets for people to experience with about 200 services per day.

In addition to the main activities, the festival also features paragliding, fabric-winged aircraft, large-sized artistic kite flying, and a brass band performance with the participation of 150 children.

The 2025 Dong Nai Province Ceramic and Hot Air Balloon Festival not only introduces ceramics and hot air balloons, but also takes advantage of the resonance of supporting activities such as cultural exhibitions, folk games, competitions, art creations, and international cultural exchanges, bringing diverse and profound experiences to participants.
