The end point of the project adjacent to National Highway 1A is adjusting the design to connect smoothly and safely to inter-regional traffic.

This project has a total investment of more than 103 billion VND; of which, the construction items are more than 84 billion VND. The project scale (phase 1) has a cross-section of 36m, of which the road surface is 14m wide; 12m of dirt shoulders on both sides and a 10m wide median strip in the middle. Particularly, the pavement structure is high-grade A1, hot-laid dense asphalt concrete, grade 1 crushed stone aggregate foundation; required elastic modulus: Eyc≥140MPa. On this route, a new prestressed reinforced concrete girder bridge is built across Mo Rui stream with 3 static spans Lo=24m, a length of more than 44m (calculated to the end of the abutment wing wall) and a bridge width of 30m.

The project was constructed by a consortium of contractors Thua Thien Hue Road Management and Construction Joint Stock Company - Thua Thien Hue Road 1 Joint Stock Company - 501.1 LLC - Quang Thanh Construction and Trading Services LLC from August 2023 to this point, reaching more than 80% of the workload.

The representative of the project investor added that currently, due to the design change at the first section of the intersection with National Highway 1A (Hue bypass), an additional capital source of about 10 billion VND has been proposed to expand and lower the road surface height to ensure safety, so the construction units expect 100% of the project's workload to be completed by early September.

When completed, the project will connect the inter-regional and Phu Bai Industrial Park, creating a driving force for socio -economic development of Huong Thuy town.
