Project VIE085: Disbursement of 800 million VND to intergenerational self-help clubs

Leaders of the Provincial Association of the Elderly presented financial support and health care equipment to the Intergenerational Self-Help Club of Tom Duoi village, Tan Lap commune (Lac Son).

The VIE085 Project Management Board has disbursed VND 800 million to 10 LTHTGN Clubs in Mai Chau, Cao Phong, Lac Son, and Yen Thuy districts. The resources supported by the project aim to maintain the effective implementation of 8 areas of activities, while creating conditions for members to borrow capital to develop the economy and increase income.

In addition, the VIE085 Project Management Board participated in the club's activities to evaluate the effectiveness of the model in the community and share and contribute ideas to continue improving the quality of activities.

On this occasion, the sponsor mobilized resources to donate health care equipment such as: blood pressure monitors, health scales, index measuring rulers... and instructions for use to members of the LTHTGN Club.

Project VIE085, funded by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), HelpAge International in Korea (HAK), and HAI, will be implemented in Hoa Binh province from July 2023 and is expected to end in November 2025.
