According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, currently, in the North, a cold air mass is moving south.

It is forecasted that from the afternoon and night of March 15, this cold air mass will affect the Northeast, North Central and some places in the Northwest, then affect other places in the Northwest, Central Central and some places in the South Central.

Inland, northeast wind gradually increases to level 3-4, coastal areas level 4-5, some places gust level 6.

From the night of March 15, the weather in the North and North Central regions will turn cold, with some mountainous areas in the North experiencing severe cold; from around March 17, the weather will turn cold in the area from Quang Binh to Hue.

The lowest temperature in this cold air mass in the North is generally from 13-16 degrees, in mountainous areas below 10 degrees in some places; North Central region is generally 14-17 degrees; Quang Binh to Hue is generally 17-19 degrees.

Hanoi

Cloudy, light rain, drizzle and fog at night and morning. Light wind. Cold at night.

Lowest temperature: 21-23 degrees. Highest temperature: 24-26 degrees.

Northwest

Cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms in some places in the late afternoon and at night; sunny during the day, with some hot spots in the Northwest. Light wind. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Cold at night.

Lowest temperature: 19-22 degrees, some places below 19 degrees. Highest temperature: 26-29 degrees; in the Northwest region 31-34 degrees, some places above 35 degrees.

Northeast

Cloudy, light rain, drizzle and fog at night and morning. Light wind. Cold at night.

Lowest temperature: 20-23 degrees, some mountainous areas below 20 degrees. Highest temperature: 23-26 degrees, some places above 26 degrees.

Thanh Hoa - Hue

Cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms tonight; scattered showers later, with scattered fog and light fog in the early morning, clearing up with sunny skies in the afternoon. Light winds. Thunderstorms are likely to produce tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 21-24 degrees. Highest temperature: 27-30 degrees, some places over 30 degrees.

Da Nang - Binh Thuan

Cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and at night, sunny during the day. Northeast wind level 2-3. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees. Highest temperature: 29-32 degrees.

Central Highlands

Cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms in some places in the late afternoon and at night; sunny during the day, some places are hot. East wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 19-22 degrees. Highest temperature: 31-34 degrees, some places over 35 degrees.

Southern Vietnam

Cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and at night; sunny during the day, with some hot weather. Northeast to east winds at level 2-3. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 24-27 degrees. Highest temperature: 32-35 degrees, some places above 35 degrees.

Cold air is about to hit, the North will turn cold with continuous sunshine . Around the afternoon and night of March 15, a new cold air mass will begin to move into our country, causing the temperature to drop sharply in the North to 13-16 degrees; the weather will turn cold and dry with continuous sunshine.
