Nearly 1,700 job opportunities at the Mobile Job Fair in Dong Anh Commune

The 2025 mobile job fair in Dong Anh commune (Hanoi) attracted 34 businesses to participate, bringing nearly 1,700 recruitment, enrollment and labor export opportunities, contributing to job creation and ensuring social security in the area.

On November 2, Hanoi Employment Service Center coordinated with Dong Anh Commune People's Committee to organize the 2025 Mobile Job Fair with nearly 1,700 job positions, recruitment, and labor export.

Mr. Nguyen Tay Nam, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs, said that organizing the transaction session is one of the practical solutions to implement Plan No. 199 of the City People's Committee on supporting and developing the labor market. In the first 10 months of 2025, the city created jobs for over 195,000 workers, exceeding the yearly plan by 15.71%.

“Before implementing the two-level local government, Dong Anh district has been leading the city in annual job creation for many years, in 2024 alone, the district created jobs for 13,092 workers, reaching 127.1% of the plan, accounting for 5.8% of the city's overall job creation results. With its geographical location advantages and potential and traditions over the years, Dong Anh commune has favorable conditions to attract investment, expand the market and promote economic restructuring towards increasing the proportion of high-tech industry, urban services and logistics…”, Mr. Nguyen Tay Nam commented.

“In the plan to arrange the satellite job exchanges of the City, the City People's Committee approved the adjustment of 15 job exchanges to reduce to 9 satellite job exchanges, including 2 floors located in communes in the northern area of ​​the city (Dong Anh job exchange, Soc Son job exchange). That shows that the City People's Committee and all levels and sectors continue to highly appreciate the dynamism, potential, and opportunities for socio-economic development and labor market development in the area, including Dong Anh commune,” said Mr. Nguyen Tay Nam.

The organization of job fairs is carried out based on Plan No. 199 of the Hanoi People's Committee on supporting, developing the labor market and creating jobs for workers in the last 6 months of 2025. The People's Committee of Dong Anh commune identifies this as a key task, associated with the local socio-economic development strategy, in which priority is given to supporting job creation for workers.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Luong, Vice Chairman of Dong Anh Commune People's Committee, Dong Anh Commune is located in the North of the Capital, formed with a population of more than 122,000 people, therefore, job creation is identified as a key task associated with the socio-economic development strategy. The mobile job fair is a practical and effective solution, helping to connect the recruitment needs of businesses with workers. Through the fair, businesses can recruit many targets, workers also have the opportunity to find jobs, learn suitable occupations, increase income and stabilize their lives, contributing to ensuring social security in the area.

For the job fair to be effective, the leaders of Dong Anh commune suggested that the Hanoi Employment Service Center continue to grasp recruitment needs, closely coordinate with businesses to develop appropriate and effective employment support plans and programs in 2025 and the following years. Recruiting businesses need to carefully advise workers, provide clear information about positions, salaries, and working conditions; at the same time, pay attention to training, build a professional working environment and reasonable remuneration to attract and retain workers. Workers and students should proactively research recruitment information and choose a career that suits their abilities and conditions.

The People's Committee of Dong Anh Commune also affirmed that it will continue to direct the implementation of synchronous solutions to effectively exploit local labor resources, reduce unemployment, contribute to sustainable poverty reduction and promote local socio-economic development. At the same time, encourage businesses to prioritize recruiting commune workers when implementing projects and expanding production and business.

According to the Hanoi Employment Service Center, the organization of today's Mobile Job Fair is of practical significance, and is one of the solutions to promote the development of the labor market, supporting businesses and workers in the commune and neighboring areas. Today's job fair has the participation of 34 units and businesses registered to participate with 1,698 recruitment, enrollment, and labor export needs, with a variety of positions, occupations, and attractive salaries.

The results of the recruitment demand synthesis show that those with college or university degrees or higher account for 23%; those with intermediate or technical qualifications account for 25.4%; and those with unskilled labor account for 51.6%.

In terms of income, high income from 15 million and above accounts for more than 24% of high quality indicators, workers with good experience and expertise, and the ability to withstand high work pressure. Indicators with income from 10 - 15 million account for more than 56% in business, management, supervision, department head - deputy head positions, etc.; the rest are income levels under 10 million VND.

A representative of Viet Y Aluminum Co., Ltd. said: The job fair is meaningful, especially at the end of the year. The company is in need of recruiting dozens of units to meet the increasing orders. The company ensures social welfare regimes, income calculated according to the product to ensure the rights of employees, long-term attachment to the business.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Lam (Dong Anh commune) came to the job fair with the hope of finding opportunities near home. Mr. Lam said: Previously, I worked in Quang Minh industrial park and have been on unemployment insurance for 3 months now. I plan to go back to work so I have participated in interviews at 2-3 businesses and will discuss more specifically with the staff about working conditions in the next few days.

“The job fair is a good opportunity for workers to choose suitable jobs, have jobs to stabilize their lives and contribute to the socio-economic development of the locality. In addition to job trading activities and direct job interviews between businesses and workers, the organizing committee also implements career counseling activities for high school students; provides advice and information on the labor market, labor export, vocational training, job search skills, skills to participate in the labor market, and shares information related to legal policies for workers,” said Mr. Vu Quang Thanh, Deputy Director of the Employment Service Center.
