Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hon Dat district, term X, 2024-2029.
On June 12, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hon Dat district held the 10th Congress of Delegates for the 2024-2029 term.
During the past term, the activities of the Front and its member organizations at all levels in Hon Dat district have had many positive changes. The great national unity bloc has continued to be consolidated, enhanced, expanded and promoted, creating high consensus among all social classes.
In the 2019-2024 term, Hon Dat district gathered nearly 51,000 people into mass organizations, accounting for 69.92% of the local population. The Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the district mobilized funds for the poor, social security programs, and joined hands to build new rural areas with a total amount of over 81 billion VND.
The whole Hon Dat district built and repaired 725 solidarity houses, with a total cost of over 26 billion VND; built 92 rural traffic bridges, with a total cost of over 19.6 billion VND; supported the construction, upgrading and repair of 11.7km of rural traffic roads, with a total cost of over 5 billion VND; and social security programs with a total cost of over 29.6 billion VND.

In the 2024-2029 term, the congress set a number of targets: Mobilizing funds for the poor to achieve and exceed annual plan targets; striving to build and repair 400 solidarity houses by the end of the term; mobilizing to complete the annual poverty reduction targets set by the Party Committee Resolution; gathering the masses into organizations to reach 75% of the subjects present in the area.
Every year, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hon Dat district organizes 1-2 supervision and criticism sessions, the commune level organizes 1-2 supervision sessions; the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of communes and towns builds 1-2 skillful mass mobilization models.
100% of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at two levels apply information technology in their operations, promptly transform digitally as directed; and successfully carry out the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

On this occasion, the Party Executive Committee of Hon Dat district presented the congress with a banner. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hon Dat district received social security packages worth a total of 7 billion VND from units and religious establishments in the district.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Hon Dat district awarded certificates of merit to 7 collectives and 15 individuals with good achievements in the emulation movement to welcome the 10th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hon Dat district, towards the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Kien Giang province, term 2024-2029.
