Nearly 450 households in Quang Ngai were isolated.

QNgTV- On the evening of October 26, leaders of the People's Committee of Dak Plo commune, Quang Ngai province visited and encouraged households to be evacuated from the landslide area, and at the same time directed to ensure care and support for people's lives.

Dak Plo commune houses are located in landslide areas.

During the weekend (October 25-26), Dak Plo commune experienced prolonged heavy rain, causing landslides, damaging construction works, irrigation, and traffic; affecting people's houses and crops, with estimated damage of about 7.5 billion VND.

As of 7 p.m. last night, October 26, no human casualties were recorded in the commune, but many houses were flooded, with a high risk of landslides. The commune People's Committee has directed and mobilized 26 households with 116 people to evacuate from areas at risk of landslides and flash floods to safe places, temporarily taking shelter at the homes of relatives and neighbors in the village.

Currently, many roads in the area have been eroded, temporarily cutting off traffic. These landslides have isolated 449 households with more than 1,500 people in 4 villages of Dak Plo commune.

Dak Plo Commune People's Committee has sent forces to closely monitor information in isolated villages, ready to provide necessities, food and medicine when people need it.
