In many localities today, new rice transactions are slow, prices are stable. In Long An, new transactions are slow, traders are asking to buy a little but not many have been finalized. In Dong Thap, farmers are offering to sell early winter-spring rice, transactions are slow, few people buy.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices fell sharply last week. Today's market is stable compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), 5% standard rice is at 502 USD/ton; 25% broken rice is at 470 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is at 405 USD/ton.
