Meeting to celebrate the 78th anniversary of the People's Security Forces' Traditional Day

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the People's Security Forces' Traditional Day (July 12, 1946 - July 12, 2024), on July 10, in Hanoi, the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security held a traditional meeting to pay tribute to generations of leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, veteran security officers, heroes of the People's Armed Forces of the security forces... through the periods and review the heroic tradition of the People's Security Forces. President To Lam attended the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting,President To Lam kindly sent his regards and best wishes to the leaders and former leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, generals, heroes of the People's Armed Forces, senior officers, and veteran cadres of the People's Security Forces through the ages.

President To Lam affirmed that to successfully implement the set goals and tasks, it not only requires the efforts of all police officers and soldiers currently working, but also requires the attention and intellectual and experience support of former leaders of the ministry, veteran police officers and retired generals, officers and security officers. The President requested the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security to continue to pay attention and care for retired police and security officers as well as to build an increasingly strong association of former police officers.
