Artist Bich Tram - Linh Ty's family celebrates Christmas with "Escape from Singlehood"

(NLDO) - Choosing the start date of the new play "Escape Island" right on Christmas, the artist couple Bich Tram - Linh Ty combined with director Quoc Thao to create a new boost for the theater stage.

The happy family of artist Bich Tram - Linh Ty is always the support that helps both of them stay firmly attached to the stage.

On December 24, the play "Escape Island" by author Nguyen Tuan, directed by Quoc Thao, began rehearsals. Artist Bich Tram said that as the new year 2023 approaches, Quoc Thao Drama Theater - where she and her husband have worked for more than 2 years - has shown many positive signs in staging, performing and training young actors. After the success of the play "Afternoon Sun" which brought Quoc Thao Drama Theater many awards at the 2020 National Drama Festival, this stage promises to create attraction with the participation of artists Linh Ty and Bich Tram.

"We chose the comedy "Escape Island" to welcome the approaching year 2023 to the stages. The play will be performed throughout the Tet season at Quoc Thao Drama Theater - 81 Tran Quoc Thao, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City" - artist Bich Tram shared.

The play "Island of the Singles" tells the story of an exciting trip of young people. They long to go to an island with a very strange name "Island of the Singles".

In that journey, a girl wanted to escape from the marriage arranged by two families. She met many strange guests from different countries, with so much laughter and unexpected situations. The girl met a guest who shared her journey. When a man and a woman were left on a deserted island….so many miracles happened.

The artists on the rehearsal floor hope to create laughter with interesting highlights, conveying many thoughts about love, happiness and marriage.

Director Quoc Thao believes that the artist couple Bich Tram - Linh Ty in this play will not disappoint the audience by maintaining a fun, lively rhythm and certainly bringing deep emotions every time they appear.

The play "Escape Island" features actors: Quoc Thao, Ngoc Lan, Ba Thang (champion of Tinh Bolero 2022), Linh Ty, Bich Tram and young actors from Quoc Thao Drama Theater. The play is co-produced by artists Quoc Thao and Linh Ty.
