Pig price today, November 6: Recorded a downward trend across all three regions. Purchase prices in many localities decreased from 1,000 VND/kg to 2,000 VND/kg.

Pig price today in the North: All decreased

The price of live pigs in the North this morning (November 6) was adjusted down in many localities.

Specifically, pork prices in Hai Phong recorded the biggest decrease in the region of 2,000 VND/kg, bringing the purchase price to 51,000 VND/kg.

The provinces of Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, Lai Chau and Dien Bien reduced the price of pork by 1,000 VND/kg, currently trading at the lowest price of 50,000 VND/kg. At the same time, the provinces of Cao Bang, Thai Nguyen, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, Hanoi , Ninh Binh, Phu Tho and Hung Yen all reduced the price by 1,000 VND/kg, currently trading at 51,000 VND/kg.

Meanwhile, pork prices in Lang Son did not record any new fluctuations, remaining at 51,000 VND/kg.

Thus, the price of live pigs in the North today has decreased sharply, fluctuating between 50,000 - 51,000 VND/kg.

Pig price today in the Central Highlands: Down

In the Central Highlands region, the price of live pigs this morning recorded a downward trend in many provinces.

Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Lam Dong provinces all reduced the purchase price by VND1,000/kg, bringing the purchase price down to VND50,000/kg. With the same reduction, Ha Tinh and Khanh Hoa purchased at VND49,000/kg, while Dak Lak traded at VND48,000/kg.

Localities including Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai and Gia Lai still maintain a stable price of 49,000 VND/kg (except Gia Lai at 48,000 VND/kg).

Gia Lai is currently the locality with the lowest price in the region, reaching 48,000 VND/kg.

Thus, the price of live pigs in the Central Highlands on November 6 fluctuated between 48,000 - 50,000 VND/kg.

Pig price today in the South: Slight decrease

The southern pig market this morning also had a slight price adjustment in some localities.

Specifically, in An Giang and Can Tho, the price of live pigs decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, to 50,000 VND/kg. With the same decrease, live pigs in Ca Mau and Ho Chi Minh City were purchased at 51,000 VND/kg, and in Vinh Long at 48,000 VND/kg.

Dong Nai and Tay Ninh localities continue to maintain the price at 51,000 VND/kg, the highest in the region, while Dong Thap remains at 50,000 VND/kg.

Vinh Long and Dong Thap are currently at the lowest level in the South at 48,000 VND/kg, of which Vinh Long decreased by 1,000 VND/kg.

In general, the price of live pigs in the South today fluctuates from 48,000 VND/kg to 51,000 VND/kg.
