Livestock project in Khanh Hoa
On the afternoon of September 8, Mr. Trinh Minh Hoang - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee - chaired a working session with relevant units to resolve the proposal for the Phuoc Tien pig farm project, according to information from Khanh Hoa Provincial Information Portal.
At the meeting, the Department of Agriculture and Environment said that Ninh Thuan Green Technology JSC wishes to implement the Phuoc Tien pig farm project on an area of 56.6 hectares in Bac Ai commune.
Of this land fund, 54.55 hectares are subject to being removed from the planning of three types of forests and have been approved by the People's Committee of the former Ninh Thuan province in Decision No. 520 dated June 29, while the remaining 2.05 hectares are under the management of Tan Tien Forestry One Member Co., Ltd.
However, the project is currently facing problems with land allocation or land lease for auction of land use rights and investor selection.
After listening to the opinions of all parties, the Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to coordinate with Bac Ai Commune People's Committee to verify the origin and current status of the land area that Ninh Thuan Green Technology Joint Stock Company proposed for the project.
Based on the review results and the current legal framework, the Department of Agriculture and Environment will have to submit to the Provincial People's Committee a plan to handle problems related to land use plans, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
