Gia Lai dialogues with businesses at Le Thanh International Border Gate Economic Zone

On the morning of September 27, at the meeting and dialogue between Gia Lai provincial leaders and enterprises operating in import-export activities at Le Thanh International Border Gate Economic Zone, enterprises that are operating in import-export activities at the Economic Zone or are interested in this field expressed their respect and appreciation for the provincial leaders organizing the meeting so that the units could have the opportunity to directly discuss their concerns and difficulties in investment activities.

Many problems were directly answered by provincial leaders and representatives of relevant agencies, departments and branches at the Conference.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan affirmed: Gia Lai province always accompanies the business community; at the same time, creates the most favorable conditions to promote investment, production and business activities with the motto "5 together": listening together, discussing together, implementing together, sharing results together and overcoming difficulties together. The province also constantly improves the investment and business environment, aiming to become an "ideal destination" for domestic and foreign investors, not only by issuing attractive incentive mechanisms, but also through building a synchronous and modern infrastructure system; developing high-quality human resources; at the same time, ensuring the strong, responsible and effective accompaniment of authorities at all levels with businesses and investors.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board to review, develop a detailed plan, and organize specific implementation according to the "6 clear" principle (clear people, clear work, clear deadline, clear responsibility, clear results, clear authority). Specifically, it is necessary to complete border trade infrastructure, prioritize investment in inspection yards, bonded warehouses, cold storage, specialized inspection systems; connect the border gate infrastructure with major traffic routes, especially the Quy Nhon - Pleiku expressway. In addition, research and quickly deploy digital border gates and smart border gates suitable to the actual situation at Le Thanh International Border Gate. Deploy the "one-door, one-stop" model, manage vehicles and goods using digital technology, QR codes, etc.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that enterprises will focus on improving production capacity, proactively researching, expanding investment, and developing industries in line with the province's potential, advantages, and development orientation. Emphasizing that innovation in thinking is a prerequisite for sustainable business development, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that enterprises need to shift from "traditional business thinking" to "innovative thinking", minimizing raw exports; instead, focusing on investing in deep processing technology to increase product value.
