(GLO)- According to the Department of Industry and Trade of Gia Lai province, in the first 9 months of 2025, the province's coffee export situation recorded many positive signals with export turnover reaching more than 975 million USD. The main reason for the growth is that coffee prices remained high, averaging 5,500 USD/ton, up more than 70% over the same period last year. This is not only the main export product but also the main driving force for the province's export turnover to break through.

Currently, Gia Lai is focusing on building a coffee production chain to improve productivity and product quality; at the same time, promoting innovation in preliminary processing, preservation and deep processing technology to increase the value of coffee products.

Along with that, the province also supports businesses in finding partners, expanding markets, improving competitiveness, strengthening market information and forecasting; and effectively utilizing free trade agreements to promote coffee exports.

Gia Lai currently has more than 107,400 hectares of coffee (56,691 hectares have met Organic, Rainforest Alliance, 4C standards) with a total output of more than 333,250 tons; of which, the export output to 60 countries around the world is about 240,000 tons/year.
