From early morning, the Party committees and authorities at all levels, especially in coastal localities such as Hoai Nhon Bac ward, mobilized all local forces to organize the evacuation of people. Working groups were divided into each neighborhood and household, especially in vulnerable areas along the coast to propagate, guide and support people to urgently arrange their belongings and move to concentrated storm shelters arranged by the locality.

Mr. Huynh Minh Thu (Thi Chanh 1 Quarter, Hoai Nhon Bac Ward) said: "I took my wife, children and grandchildren immediately following the instructions to ensure safety."

According to Mr. Tran Minh Lam, Vice Chairman of Hoai Nhon Bac Ward People's Committee, the ward has planned to evacuate more than 700 households with about 3,000 people. Shelters are arranged at schools and cultural centers - solid, safe places with full electricity, water and essential necessities to serve people during the storm.

The evacuation was carried out urgently, while still ensuring order and safety. Local authorities, Fatherland Front and organizations were always on hand to grasp the thoughts and aspirations of the people in order to provide timely support and help them feel secure and stabilize their shelters.

Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Hoai Nhon Ward, Pham Tien Dung, added: "All households with level 4 houses or non-permanent houses will be relocated 100%. The ward will arrange 16-seat vehicles to support transportation for households that cannot move."

Up to now, tens of thousands of households in Gia Lai province living in high-risk areas have been evacuated to safe places. Authorities are continuing to check and review, not allowing people to remain in dangerous areas, with the highest determination to absolutely ensure the safety of people's lives and property before storm No. 13 makes landfall.
