The domestic market is flat.

On December 17, 2025, the domestic rice market continued to maintain stability in many localities. Trading was slow due to the transition period between harvests; however, rice and paddy prices remained stable, supported by a slight upward trend in exports.

Rice prices in An Giang

According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, the prices of various types of rice in the area remained unchanged compared to the previous trading session. Supply is not abundant because farmers still have little rice and the new crop has not yet been fully harvested.

Retail rice prices

At retail outlets, the price of finished rice also remained stable. Purchasing power is steady, and no sudden price increases have been recorded, even though demand for the Lunar New Year holiday has begun to emerge.

Prices of glutinous rice and by-products

The glutinous rice segment did not record significant fluctuations. Meanwhile, the by-product group saw a slight upward adjustment of 100 VND/kg.

Export rice prices increased slightly.

On the world market, the export price of Vietnamese rice continues to remain stable and shows a slight upward trend. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), the selling prices of various types of rice are as follows:
