VinFuture Prize 2024: Honoring groundbreaking works that change the world

On the evening of December 6, the VinFuture 2024 Award Ceremony took place at the Hoan Kiem Theater (Hanoi) with the participation of Politburo member, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and hundreds of outstanding scientists from around the world. The VinFuture 2024 Special Prize for Women Scientists was awarded to Professor Kristi Anseth, a scientist from the US, for her advances in polymer material design and methods for biomedical applications. The VinFuture 2024 Special Prize for Scientists Researching Emerging Fields was awarded to Professor Zelig Eshhar (Israel), Professor Carl H. June (USA) and Professor Michel Sadelain (USA) for their work on developing CAR-T cell therapy to treat cancer and other diseases.
