Stop operating bus route from M'Drak to Buon Ma Thuot

Quyet Thang Cooperative (HTX) said that from December 3, 2025, the unit will stop operating bus route No. 31, the route from Buon Ma Thuot City (old) to M'Drak District (old).

Specifically, the route is 100 km long (with 60 pick-up and drop-off points), starting from Km92, National Highway 26 (in M'Drắk district (old)), ending point is Buon Ma Thuot Southern Bus Station.

Quyet Thang Cooperative's buses transported passengers when they were still in operation.

The reason for stopping the route is due to a sharp decrease in revenue, high fuel and labor costs, and insufficient revenue to cover arising costs, so for the past 3 years the cooperative has been continuously losing money.

The unit is looking for solutions and funding sources to equip electric buses according to the Government 's policy. However, using electric buses requires large investments in vehicles and charging infrastructure.

In recent years, passenger transport by bus has faced many difficulties, with few passengers and low revenue, not enough to cover costs. Therefore, many businesses and cooperatives in the province have stopped operating some routes.

Previously, bus route No. 11 (Buon Ma Thuot - Krong Bong route) of Dak Lak Automobile Transport Joint Stock Company stopped operating from November 10, 2025.
