Revolutionary tradition education for youth union members

In order to enhance the political capacity and patriotism of cadres and youth union members, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee organized a seminar program "Aspiration to contribute - Youth's way of life". The objective of the program is to thoroughly grasp and concretize the viewpoints, goals and tasks set out, creating high unity in awareness and action of all levels of the Youth Union and cadres and youth union members in the implementation to soon bring the Party's resolutions into life. At the same time, through the seminar, it contributes to helping young people realize their mission and responsibility, maintain political capacity and revolutionary ideals and arouse their aspiration to contribute, build a noble way of life, and contribute to the overall development of the province.

At the seminar, the guest, Colonel Luong Sy Vui (Sam Son Ward Veterans Association), shared very practical information about the heroic fighting and sacrifice of the previous generations in the struggle to protect the Fatherland and in the current work of building and protecting the homeland and the country. From there, it aroused the desire to contribute in the youth, to make efforts to contribute their efforts and intelligence to build the homeland and the country through good solutions and practices in volunteer activities for the community, starting a business, establishing a career...

As usual, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), Tho Xuan Commune Youth Union held an incense offering ceremony to commemorate the heroic martyrs at Tho Xuan Martyrs Cemetery. In the sacred atmosphere, every young person was moved and choked up. Secretary of the Commune Youth Union Hoang Thi Phuong said: "Along with the activities to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs, the Commune Youth Union has organized many other meaningful activities such as visiting and giving gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, families of wounded soldiers and martyrs; organizing medical examinations and providing free medicine to families with revolutionary contributions... Through that, we aim to spread practical values ​​in the community, arouse patriotism and revolutionary spirit in each cadre and youth union member".

Closely following the core tasks of the Youth Union in 2025, right from the beginning of the year in the specific action plans of the Provincial Youth Union, one of the contents that the Youth Union bases pay special attention to is educating revolutionary traditions and political ideology for cadres and young union members. Provincial Youth Union Secretary Le Ngoc Anh said: "The Youth Union bases in the province have built and implemented action plans and programs associated with specific and practical activities through organizing activities, notably propagating the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State, directives and resolutions of the province and the higher-level Youth Union; continuing to effectively implement the campaign to build a beautiful image of Thanh Hoa youth in the new period of 2024-2027; implementing a program to educate revolutionary ideals, ethics, and cultural lifestyle for youth and children on cyberspace in the period of 2022-2030"...

Along with that, in order to help the Youth Union members better understand the historical significance of the country's major events and holidays, the Provincial Youth Union has launched campaigns, seminars, thematic talks, rallies, and commemorations on the occasion of events and holidays. At the same time, it organizes activities such as "Repaying gratitude", "Drinking water, remembering its source"; organizes for young people to meet witnesses, learn about historical sites; organizes political activities "Keeping the fire of tradition"; and researches about the source...

In his sacred Testament, Uncle Ho advised: "Cultivating the revolutionary generation for the next generation is a very important and necessary task." Therefore, promoting education on revolutionary traditions, politics and ideology will help cadres and young people understand correctly, be proud of and respect the revolutionary tradition, have political courage; thereby arousing the pride and excitement of the youth of the whole province to compete to study and follow the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh, contributing with the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in the province to build Thanh Hoa into a "model" province as beloved Uncle Ho advised during his lifetime.
