Exchange of Don ca tai tu, folk songs and Ho Dong Thap "A hundred years of origin along the Sa Giang River"

DTO - On the evening of December 31, at Sa Dec City Square, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the Don ca tai tu, folk songs and Ho Dong Thap exchange program with the theme "A hundred years of origin along the Sa Giang River". Attending the program were representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Provincial Border Guard Command; Sa Dec City Department of Culture and Information and many people inside and outside the locality.

The program takes place with special performances in many genres such as: Dong Thap Folk Songs, vọng cổ, ensembles, folk medleys... performed by artists, actors, and artisans from Lai Vung district, Lap Vo district, and Vinh Long province. The Don ca tai tu, folk songs, and Dong Thap Folk Songs Exchange Program is an activity in a series of events responding to the 1st Sa Dec Flower - Ornamental Festival in 2023.

Artists from Lai Vung district perform the song "Afternoon Sun in the Countryside" at the program.

Through the program, the aim is to preserve and promote traditional cultural and artistic values, intangible cultural heritages typical of Dong Thap province; create conditions for artisans, artists, actors to exchange and share professional experiences. At the same time, introduce and promote the image of Dong Thap homeland - "Pure as the soul of lotus", Dong Thap people - "loyal, dynamic, creative" to friends inside and outside the province.
