Developed by OneTeam DX, a technology team of the Software company cooperating with the Retailer, "Professor Knows It All" is not simply a chatbot that answers questions but also has the ability to automatically analyze, infer and update information in real time. This system has truly created a breakthrough in vaccine consultation at FPT Long Chau.
While in the past, consultation was done by doctors at vaccination centers, now this work can be done by pharmacists and consultants thanks to the "Professor Knows It All". This both improves the customer experience and optimizes response time quickly.
Officially applied from December 2024, FPT Long Chau's vaccine consulting chatbot is built on a multi-agent AI platform, integrating many advanced technologies including RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) to help combine data from many reputable sources to provide highly accurate answers, NLP (Natural Language Processing) supports natural language processing to understand user intentions, LLM (Large Language Model) helps chatbots respond naturally and reasoning AI has the ability to infer and analyze complex questions, supporting more in-depth advice.

Mr. Bui Anh Kiet, an AI engineer in the project team, said: “The difference of the system lies in the ability to continuously update data, verified by a team of medical experts, pharmacists and doctors from FPT Long Chau Training Center. Thanks to that, the chatbot is more reliable than traditional medical consulting systems, while reducing the workload for the pharmacist team, helping them focus on cases that require more in-depth advice.”
According to Mr. Kiet, the journey to bring "Professor Know-It-All" from idea to reality encountered many challenges. Initially, the development team had almost no medical knowledge, leading to having to change the way data was organized many times to ensure the chatbot provided accurate information.
In addition, the processing of medical data is also complex and ever-changing, requiring rigorous validation processes. The team has overcome this challenge by optimizing algorithms, continuously improving the data validation process, and developing additional automated analysis functions.
The representative of OneTeam DX added that there were times when the whole team had to work through the night to keep up with the schedule. Partly because AI technology in medicine is still new, the development team chose the "Do fast, fail fast" method - quick testing to detect errors quickly, and fix them immediately. Thanks to that, the system has been gradually improved and optimized.
…to the smart healthcare information ecosystem
Immediately after its launch, the AI chatbot "Professor Knows It All" recorded 3,000 - 4,000 conversations on the first day alone, maintaining a few hundred conversations per day thereafter. By January this year, the satisfaction rate reached 4/5 stars, showing positive reception from users.
In the near future, FPT Long Chau aims to expand chatbots to other areas such as pathology, medicine, nutrition and general health consultation... At the same time, the system will be upgraded with a more user-friendly interface, connecting to the healthcare system, product data and real-time medical information, and developing personalized features to enhance the ability to advise each specific subject. For example, chatbots advise the elderly, people with chronic diseases (diabetes, gout, high blood pressure...).

Mr. Bui Anh Kiet affirmed that the ultimate goal of the project is not just a simple consulting chatbot but to build a smart medical information ecosystem, accompanying users in protecting their health.
The birth of the "Professor Knows It All" marks an important step in the journey of applying AI to digital transformation at FPT Long Chau. In addition to optimizing the vaccine consultation process, the chatbot also enhances customer experience, ensuring accurate and timely medical information.
