General Secretary To Lam expressed his delight at meeting experts who were founders and leaders of technology enterprises, participated in research on artificial intelligence, national security, and worked as consultants in the state apparatus, affirming that the meeting was a meaningful start, opening a journey of long-term and profound cooperation between Vietnam and the intellectuals and elites of the UK and the world.

Believing that the world is witnessing the remarkable development of science and technology and artificial intelligence is becoming a key driving force, promoting economic growth, innovation, and transforming the development model of countries, the General Secretary emphasized that Vietnam wishes to accompany advanced countries to share common visions and values to build a better world, so that AI serves people, is for people and helps people become more intelligent, more creative, more compassionate, more peaceful and prosperous.
Expressing his impression of the issues and ideas presented by the experts, the General Secretary said he would assign the relevant agencies to research and coordinate to clarify the content, and move towards implementing specific steps to turn the ideas into projects and programs in Vietnam, soon bringing new values, new models and new beliefs to humanity in the era of artificial intelligence.

In the coming time, General Secretary To Lam hopes that experts will continue to share knowledge and experience in planning national AI strategies, developing digital infrastructure and innovation ecosystems; promoting investment, technology transfer, and AI applications in key areas such as healthcare, smart agriculture, and digital education; and, at the same time, working with Vietnam to successfully implement key programs on science and technology, especially new and pioneering fields, to help Vietnam build a creative and self-reliant economy.
