VTV.vn - On the afternoon of October 28, the Special Session of the 19th Provincial People's Council elected Mr. Bui Duc Hinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee - to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term.

Phu Tho Provincial Party Secretary Truong Quoc Huy presented flowers to congratulate comrades Bui Duc Hinh, Bui Van Quang and Nguyen Manh Son on their new assignments.

On the afternoon of October 28, the People's Council of Phu Tho province, term XIX, 2021 - 2026, held the Third Special Session to carry out personnel work under its authority.

At the Session, with 100% of votes in favor, Mr. Bui Duc Hinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee held the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, term XIX, 2021 - 2026.

Previously, the Session voted unanimously to dismiss Mr. Nguyen Manh Son from the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term due to his assignment to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. At the same time, Mr. Bui Van Quang from the position of Chairman of the 19th Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term was dismissed due to his assignment to hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Also at the meeting, the Provincial People's Council also elected Mr. Ngo Chi Tue - Provincial Party Committee member, Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term, to fill the position of Member of the Provincial People's Committee with 100% of votes in favor.

Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Truong Quoc Huy acknowledged and congratulated the comrades who were elected to new positions; at the same time, he hoped that with their practical experience in many positions and positions, they would excellently complete the assigned tasks.

The Secretary of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee emphasized that after nearly 4 months of operating the 2-level government, despite the large workload, with the proactive, determined spirit and high consensus of the entire political system and government at all levels, the province's socio-economic situation in the first 9 months of 2025 has been quite positive and comprehensive in all fields.

The Secretary of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee affirmed that the meeting took place after the province successfully organized the first Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, setting the goal that by 2030, Phu Tho will be one of the growth poles of the Capital region, becoming a center of industry, trade, logistics, tourism, high-quality education and training and organizing large cultural festivals associated with national roots; a center for organizing national and international events of the region; by 2045, becoming a centrally-run city".

In the coming time, the People's Council, People's Committee and authorities at all levels need to continue to review and perfect mechanisms and policies in accordance with reality, improve the effectiveness of state management, and promote rapid and sustainable socio-economic development.
