Prime Minister signs decision on personnel of Ministry of National Defense

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has signed and issued decisions to appoint and extend his term of office at the Ministry of National Defense.

Specifically, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed a decision to extend the term of office of Deputy Minister of National Defense for Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh and Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong according to regulations. The above decisions took effect from October 24.

The Prime Minister also signed a decision to extend the term of office of Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army for Senior Lieutenant General Huynh Chien Thang according to regulations. This decision takes effect from November 5.

The Prime Minister also appointed Major General Tran Van Luong, Commander of Coast Guard Region 4, Vietnam Coast Guard, to hold the position of Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Vietnam Coast Guard. The appointment term is 5 years and takes effect from October 17.
