Ha Giang invites businesses to invest in advantageous fields of the province

On October 10, the People's Committee of Ha Giang province held a meeting to celebrate Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day October 13, 2023 and awarded Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Giang province to outstanding enterprises and entrepreneurs.

Ha Giang province has more than 3,700 enterprises with a total registered capital of more than 36 trillion VND, of which 70% are producing and operating effectively. With the spirit of self-reliance, self-reliance, and overcoming difficulties, enterprises have made great contributions to economic and social development.

Every year, the provincial business community creates more than 60% of the total product in the province, contributes more than 70% of domestic revenue, and creates jobs for thousands of local workers.

Among them, many enterprises and entrepreneurs have pioneered in investing in areas with potential, advantages, and development priorities of the province. Typically: H'Mong Village Quan Ba ​​high-class resort ; high-class Shan Tuyet tea products of Thanh Son Tea Company, Phin Ho Tea Processing Cooperative; OCOP products of many enterprises; start-up cooperatives implementing many effective economic models, developing agricultural and forestry products, bringing high income to the people.

In particular, the business community has coordinated to effectively and substantially implement the set of competitiveness indexes at district and department levels in 2022, thereby contributing to raising the voice of businesses and significantly improving the investment and business environment of the province.

In addition, the business community has made many contributions to the province's social security work. Notably, in the program of eliminating temporary housing for poor veterans and poor households in border areas, Ha Giang businesses have actively contributed to the province's implementation of the program.

Thanks to the joint efforts of businesses and the community, in the first half of the term, the province built 3,113 houses for the beneficiaries, with socialized capital mobilizing more than 180 billion VND.

At the meeting, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Giang province awarded certificates of merit to 68 collectives and typical businessmen with outstanding achievements in production, business activities and good implementation of social security work.
