From August 30th to September 2nd, the Hanoi Department of Tourism, in coordination with the People's Committee of Ba Dinh Ward, organized a series of activities to promote Hanoi's cultural and historical tourism in 2025 with the theme "The Red of Ba Dinh", in the Truc Bach pedestrian street area and nearby historical sites, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd.
The "Ba Dinh Red" program aims to honor the cultural and historical values of the capital city, spread patriotism, awaken national pride, and introduce unique tourism products and routes in Ba Dinh ward.
This activity also contributes to affirming Hanoi's image as a "safe, friendly, and attractive" destination.
Developing cultural and historical tourism products not only expands the experiential space and improves service quality but also promotes related industries such as cuisine, entertainment, and media, contributing to shaping a complete, unique, and high-quality tourism space. This effectively connects Hanoi's cultural and historical destination system and promotes tourism products in Ba Dinh ward.
Within the framework of the event, many rich experiential activities were organized such as: Visiting and offering incense at the Quan Thanh Temple, Thuy Trung Tien Temple, and An Tri Communal House; a space showcasing traditional Hanoi cuisine and culinary spaces in the Ngu Xa area; an exhibition of culture and history commemorating 80 years of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd; and traditional and contemporary art programs such as Ca Tru singing and street performances…
In particular, the organizers also arranged many "experience stations" such as: a station for changing the national flag, a station for "Capturing Emotions" about Independence and Freedom, a green tourism station, along with photo spaces and themed electric train carriages with themes such as "Pho, Subsidy Era, Rice and Grain, Tea and Coffee."
The opening ceremony will take place at 7 PM on August 30th at the main stage on Truc Bach pedestrian street, featuring artistic performances characteristic of the capital city and a screening of a film promoting Hanoi tourism.
With this series of activities, the Hanoi tourism industry hopes to create a unique and attractive cultural and tourism space, thereby promoting the image of Hanoi as a creative and distinctive city to a wide range of domestic and international tourists.
