Hanoi seeks "innovation trees" that bring high socio-economic efficiency

On September 23, the Hanoi City Labor Federation (HLF) announced that it will review, search for and organize a ceremony to honor "Initiatives and creativity among workers, civil servants and laborers (CNVCLĐ) in the capital" in 2025.

Accordingly, the title "Initiative and creativity among workers in the capital" is awarded by the Hanoi City Labor Confederation to individuals who are union members and workers working in agencies, units, schools, hospitals, research institutes, enterprises and other economic sectors that have a Trade Union organization under the Hanoi City Labor Confederation.

Regarding the standard, an individual (or a group of individuals as co-authors) has an initiative or technical solution, management solution that is applied to the practice of an agency, unit, or enterprise and has the ability to be widely applied and disseminated in the industry or the whole city, bringing practical socio-economic efficiency recognized by competent authorities and of beneficial value.

The City Labor Federation requested the Commune and Ward Trade Unions to coordinate with local authorities to guide and direct 100% of grassroots Trade Unions to organize implementation, establish a council to review valuable technological initiatives and solutions that meet prescribed standards, promptly commend and reward, and select individuals with outstanding initiatives and solutions to propose rewards at all levels.

The Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union, based on the actual situation at the unit, proactively coordinates with the heads of agencies, units, and employers to organize assessments and select initiatives and solutions that ensure standards according to regulations and propose rewards at all levels.

The time to apply the initiative to select the title "Initiative and creativity in the Capital's labor force" in 2025 is calculated from May 2024 to September 2025.

According to the Hanoi City Labor Federation, the organization of the commendation aims to contribute to promoting the emulation movement "Good workers, Creative workers", the movement "Capital's initiatives and creativity"; to encourage and motivate union members and workers in the capital to compete enthusiastically in production, promote creativity, improve labor productivity and work efficiency, to meet the requirements of the 4.0 industrial revolution and international integration. The program is expected to be held in October, at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labor Cultural Palace.
