In the first week of November, many large-scale transport infrastructure projects made significant progress. Notable investment proposals include the Phu My 2 bridge project connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai, researched by Masterise, and the Hanoi -Quang Ninh high-speed railway worth over USD 5.5 billion from Vinspeed. In addition, other highway, railway and urban planning projects were also promoted.
Masterise researches building Phu My 2 bridge connecting Ho Chi Minh City - Dong Nai
The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has approved the assignment of Masterise Group Corporation to research and prepare a proposal for investment policy for the Phu My 2 Bridge construction project under the public-private partnership (PPP) model. This project is expected to enhance the transport infrastructure connection between two key economic localities in the South.

Preliminary project specifications include:
- Location: Starting point at Nguyen Huu Tho street (HCMC), ending point at inter-port road (Dong Nai province).
- Length: About 6.3 km.
- Scale: 8 lanes.
- Total preliminary investment: More than 12,900 billion VND.
Vinspeed proposes Hanoi - Quang Ninh railway project worth over 5.5 billion USD
Vinspeed High-Speed Railway Development Investment Joint Stock Company has announced the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report for the Hanoi - Quang Ninh railway project. This is one of the proposed railway projects with a large investment scale.

- Length: About 120 km.
- Starting point: National Exhibition Fair Center (Co Loa), Dong Anh commune, Hanoi city.
- End point: Forest park area, Tuan Chau ward, Quang Ninh province.
- Total investment: More than 5.5 billion USD.
- Expected progress: Construction starts at the end of the year.
Construction of 5 stations on the Lao Cai - Hai Phong railway line is about to start
According to information from the Ministry of Construction, the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway project has been divided into component projects for implementation. The first phase will focus on building important stations. The Railway Project Management Board is clearing the land for handover to localities before November 10 for Lao Cai, Phu Tho, Bac Hong, Luong Tai and Hai Duong Nam stations. The expected start date is December 19.
Pre-feasibility study of Bao Ha - Lai Chau expressway
The Ministry of Construction has proposed that the Government assign the People's Committee of Lai Chau province to preside over and coordinate with the People's Committee of Lao Cai province to prepare a pre-feasibility study report for the Bao Ha - Lai Chau expressway project. This expressway will contribute to completing the transportation network in the Northwest region.

- Planned length: About 203 km.
- Route: From IC.16 intersection (Hanoi - Lao Cai highway) to Ma Lu Thang border gate.
- Scale: 4 lanes and 2 emergency lanes, design speed 80 km/h.
- Total preliminary investment: About 43,040 billion VND.
New Duong Bridge completion deadline postponed to 2026
Due to problems in site clearance, the Ministry of Construction has adjusted the completion time of the two railway and road bridges across the Duong River to 2026, one year later than the original plan. The project has a total investment of more than 1,840 billion VND from the state budget, with the starting point in the old Long Bien district and the ending point in the old Gia Lam district.

Hanoi plans Olympic Sports Urban Area
The Hanoi People's Committee has approved the Olympic Sports Urban Area Planning Task - Area A, scale 1/2000. The research area has a scale of more than 16,000 hectares, of which Area A is about 3,280 hectares, within the administrative boundaries of wards and communes of Thanh Liet, Dai Thanh, Ngoc Hoi, Tam Hung, Thuong Tin, Binh Minh. The planning period is until 2045, with a vision to 2065.
Da Nang expands National Highway 14D
The Management Board of Construction Investment Projects of the former Quang Nam Province (now Da Nang City) has announced the environmental impact assessment report for the project to upgrade and expand National Highway 14D. The route has a total length of 74.4 km, passing through three communes: Ben Giang, Nam Giang and La Dee, with a total investment of VND 4,518 billion. The project is expected to be constructed in the period of 2025 - 2027 and completed in the first quarter of 2028.
