On the afternoon of December 14th, in Ha Tinh , the Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union, in collaboration with the Skyline group, Ha Tinh Newspaper, and the Ha Tinh Young Entrepreneurs Association, organized the "Coloring Memories" program, presenting 130 reconstructed portraits to honor the heroic martyrs.
Throughout its history of nation-building and national defense, the Vietnamese people have confronted and defeated all brutal invading enemies. The spirit of patriotism, indomitable will, and sacrifice for the Fatherland have always been nurtured, fostered, and promoted, becoming a cultural tradition and an intrinsic source of strength for our nation.
Continuing that tradition, millions of outstanding sons and daughters of the nation, with their patriotic spirit and unwavering will, have not hesitated to shed their blood and sacrifice their lives for the noble cause of the revolution.
The war is long over, but the pain remains, especially for the families of fallen soldiers. Many who fought to defend the homeland never returned, and the only mementos left are old portraits that their families have kept for many years.
Over time, photographs gradually become faded, damaged, or no longer intact. Many families have to rely on the facial features of their loved ones to reconstruct these ancestral portraits.
With deep gratitude and empathy for the pain and loss of the families and relatives of martyrs, the Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union, the Skyline group, Ha Tinh Newspaper, and the Ha Tinh Young Entrepreneurs Association collaborated to implement the "Coloring Memories" program, restoring more than 130 portraits of heroes and martyrs and presenting them to their families.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Anh, representing the Skyline group, shared that the group's members are all very young, and although born in peacetime , they deeply understand the loss and sacrifice of the martyrs.
To obtain sharp, vivid portraits of fallen soldiers, the members worked tirelessly day and night restoring them with all their hearts, expressing deep gratitude and appreciation. The group hopes that these photos will convey their profound gratitude to the fallen soldiers and their families.

At the event, the Organizing Committee presented nearly 70 photographs and gifts to the relatives of fallen soldiers. For families living far away, elderly or frail relatives, or those unable to attend, the Organizing Committee and the local Youth Union will deliver the gifts directly.
Upon receiving the photograph of her son, martyr Nguyen Xuan Thinh, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Nhu (from Thach Tri commune, Thach Ha district) was deeply moved. Despite the cold, rainy weather and her advanced age, she was present at the hall, gazing at and embracing the image of her beloved son who sacrificed his life more than 50 years ago.
Each photograph tells a story of gratitude between those who have passed away and those who remain. The heartfelt reception from the families of fallen soldiers and the community has further motivated the organizing committee, especially the Skyline group, to strive harder on this journey of remembrance. This is also a meaningful message to remind today's young generation of their responsibility to preserve and continue the achievements that previous generations have built.
At the event, leaders of Ha Tinh province and the Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union presented commemorative gifts to acknowledge and encourage the Skyline group's contributions to gratitude activities in the province over the past period.
