Squadron 211 competes to achieve results to celebrate important events

(NLDO) - Squadron 211 (Flotilla 21, Coast Guard Region 2 Command) is actively launching and organizing activities with a vibrant competitive spirit.

In the spirit of emulation of the entire Party, people and army to achieve excellent results to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, and to practically welcome the 6th Congress of the Vietnam Coast Guard Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, these days, officers and soldiers of Squadron 211, Squadron 21, Command of Coast Guard Region 2 are actively launching and organizing activities with a spirit of emulation and high determination.

With the slogan "Emulation is patriotism, patriotism requires emulation", "Those who emulate are the most patriotic", officers and soldiers of Squadron 211 always overcome difficulties and successfully complete assigned tasks.

Squadron 21 held a ceremony to offer incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Martyrs Cemetery of Nui Thanh commune.

In the past time, Squadron 211 has promoted the sense of responsibility of all officers and soldiers in the unit to successfully complete many key tasks. In particular, thoroughly grasping and directing ships performing tasks at sea to strictly perform the tasks of patrolling, inspecting, controlling and maintaining law enforcement at sea.

In particular, at the recent Regional Command-level competition for good ships and vehicles, Squadron 211 directed the ships to prepare well and participate in the competition with high results, with 1 collective Third Prize, 1 First Prize and 1 Individual Second Prize.

In the activities of the Youth Union and the youth movement, Squadron 211 continues to promote the vanguard role of the youth. The unit has coordinated with the Youth Union of the twinned unit to successfully organize the Youth Forum with the theme "Youth of Squadron 211, vanguard, creative on digital technology platform" combined with the third quarter comrades' birthday night.

This is a very practical and meaningful activity, concretizing the "Popular Education" movement in the whole unit. At the same time, it is also a bridge to connect comradeship, team spirit, warm military-civilian relations and add motivation to strive, foster and continue the glorious tradition of the unit.

Squadron 211 organized a youth forum to welcome the 6th Congress of the Vietnam Coast Guard Party Committee, term 2025-2030.

In particular, in July - the month of gratitude to commemorate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the youth of Squadron 211 joined the youth of Squadron 21 to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs at Nui Thanh Commune Martyrs Cemetery, to express the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" and the infinite gratitude for the contributions of those who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation.

Along with that, Squadron 211 also did a good job in ideological work, information and propaganda. During the month, the Squadron launched the column "Uncle Ho's teachings on this day in history" on Zalo, Messenger groups and Facebook Fanpage.

At exactly 6 o'clock every day, on the Zalo and Messenger groups of the unit's staff, the content "Uncle Ho's teachings on this day in history" appears.

At the same time, the unit wrote and published 10 news articles in over 25 newspapers, magazines and social networking platforms, contributing to spreading the noble qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers in general and Coast Guard soldiers in particular in the hearts of the people.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen The Anh - Party Secretary - Political Commissar of Squadron 211 shared: After launching the peak emulation campaign with the theme "Raising the August red flag - Emulating to win three first prizes", the Party Committee and Squadron Commander focused on educating soldiers to deeply understand the contents and targets and implementing them synchronously, promptly, and closely following the unit's mission requirements.
