Hai Phong: Exhibition of 70 years of construction and development

(PLVN) - In the exciting atmosphere to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2025), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong City organized a photo and document exhibition with the theme: "Economic, cultural, social, security and defense achievements of Hai Phong City - 70 years of construction and development". The event is an important highlight in the series of activities to celebrate the historic day of the Heroic Port City.

Speaking at the Exhibition, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong City Tran Thi Hoang Mai said that the Exhibition contributes to introducing Hai Phong as a successful destination for investors, an opportunity to promote to domestic and international friends the socio-economic achievements that the Party Committee, army and people of the city have achieved in the past 70 years; creating the basis and premise to promote the city's socio-economic development, attracting domestic and foreign investment, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 16th National Party Congress of the City and Resolution No. 45-NQ/TW of the Politburo and the Theme for 2025: "Expanding economic and urban space; perfecting specific mechanisms and policies; enhancing green transformation, digital transformation"; effectively implementing Resolution No. 45-NQ/TW of the Politburo on building and developing Hai Phong city to 2030, with a vision to 2045.

All have created a vivid, realistic picture of achievements in all fields: from industry, trade, agriculture , education, health, culture - sports to national defense - security.

The exhibition is not only a collection of photos capturing historical moments, but each document is also a powerful testament to the will, determination and aspirations of the Party Committee, government and people of the city. The exhibition also aims to widely disseminate the historical significance of Hai Phong Liberation Day; educate the tradition of patriotism and national pride, contributing to strengthening the people's trust in the Party and State. The exhibition is not only a purely cultural activity, but also an opportunity for the city's people to review the 70-year heroic journey, from the first days of liberation to the great strides on the journey of innovation, integration and development...
