The highlight of this year's A80 parade is the sea parade with the participation of modern ships and aircraft, reflecting the remarkable growth of the People's Army under the leadership of the Party.
In the sea parade, the missile frigate stood out. This is a multi-purpose combat ship, equipped with modern anti-ship and air defense missile systems, capable of operating far from shore.

In addition, the sea parade also featured the TT-400TP artillery ship squadron, Project 1241.8 Molniya missile boat, Molniya 1241.RE fast attack missile boat, Kilo 636 submarine, 159 class anti-submarine frigate and many other modern ships of the Vietnam People's Navy.

In the sky was a display of Ka-28 anti-submarine helicopters and DHC-6 seaplanes (Naval Air Brigade 954) flying in formation.
The DHC6 “sea eye” aircraft is a highly maneuverable aircraft that takes off and lands on water, allowing it to detect targets at sea in all weather conditions. The aircraft is used to perform reconnaissance, patrol, emergency medical rescue and search and rescue missions at sea.

The Ka-28 anti-submarine helicopter is used to carry out missions to search and destroy enemy submarines and surface ships with equipped weapons in day and night weather conditions.
To prepare for the event, Navy units have undergone more than two months of training in harsh weather conditions in the East Sea.
Lieutenant Hoang Minh Nguyen (Submarine Brigade 189, operating Kilo 636) shared: "The honor of being part of the parade formation is something that cannot be described in words. We will strive to complete this honorable mission."

Previously, during the inspection and direction of the training and practice of the sea parade force formation in preparation for the parade, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia - Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army emphasized the requirement to strictly follow discipline, ensuring absolute safety of people, equipment, and ships during the entire training and parade process.
