In Vinh Dieu commune ( An Giang province), Lieutenant Colonel Au Thanh Tri, Commander of the Vinh Dieu Border Guard Station, said that the unit is continuing to send forces, along with vehicles and dry food supplies, to the area to help people harvest crops that were submerged by floodwaters.

Over the past three days, more than 100 officers and soldiers from the Vinh Dieu Border Guard Station, in coordination with other forces, have helped many households harvest cassava and vegetable crops.

Heavy rain continues, causing floodwaters to rise significantly. All the fields in Vinh Dieu commune are submerged, and the water continues to overflow into higher areas. The estimated damage to date exceeds 3 billion VND.
