A poll released by Marist College in New York (USA) on September 26 showed that Ms. Harris and Mr. Trump both received the support of 49% of potential voters asked in North Carolina.
In Arizona and Georgia, 50% of likely voters surveyed in both states said they would support Donald Trump, while 49% leaned toward Harris.
The survey was conducted from September 19 to 24 among 4,643 registered voters across the three states. All respondents said they planned to vote in November, and 91% said they were certain of their choice.
The three states provide a total of 43 electoral votes. Donald Trump won North Carolina in both 2016 and 2020. He also defeated then-Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in Arizona and Georgia in 2016 but lost both states to President Joe Biden in 2020, marking the first time a Democrat won Georgia since 1992.
A new UMass Lowell/YouGov poll in Michigan shows Harris leading Trump 48% to 43%, although the former president has a slight advantage among independents, 36% to 29%. In Pennsylvania, Harris has 48% support, Trump is close behind at 46%, while 4% are undecided. Most Michigan and Pennsylvania voters say they will not change their minds about voting in November.
In Georgia, Vice President Kamala Harris currently leads former US President Donald Trump by 4 percentage points, with support rates of 51% - 48%. However, the latest poll conducted by Fox News in Arizona shows that Donald Trump received 51% of the vote, while Harris received only 48%.
A recent Reuters/Ipsos poll shows that Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential candidate, is leading the Republican candidate - former President Donald Trump by 47% - 40%.
Specifically, in the results of the three-day poll ending on September 23, Ms. Harris led by 6 percentage points with support from 46.61% of registered voters, while Mr. Trump received support from 40.48%. Thus, the Democratic candidate's lead is slightly better than the 5-point advantage over his opponent Donald Trump in the Reuters/Ipsos poll conducted from September 11-12.
Meanwhile, according to Morning Consult’s weekly poll released on September 24, Ms. Harris leads by 5 percentage points, 50% to 45%, down from a 6-point lead (her largest lead in Morning Consult polls) a week earlier. Her approval rating among likely voters reached a record high (53% to 45% for Trump), or 52% to 48%, in the latest CBS News/YouGov poll.
A recent CNN poll conducted by SSRS found that 48% supported Ms. Harris, while 47% supported Mr. Trump, an unprecedentedly close margin.
According to the Real Clear Politics polling unit, which tracks all major polls, Kamala Harris leads Donald Trump by 2% nationally. However, in the battleground states, the two candidates are almost equal in the number of votes.
The two vice presidential candidates, Republican Senator JD Vance and Democratic Governor Tim Walz, will debate next week./.
