The aid will be delivered as soon as possible in consultation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of Vietnam - the focal point for disaster response. The goal is to prioritize support to the right areas and people in need of urgent help.

The Central Highlands region has recently been hit by numerous storms, heavy rains and floods, causing serious human and property losses. In this situation, the Republic of Korea expressed its desire to stand side by side with and share the difficulties of the Vietnamese people.

In recent years, South Korea has repeatedly supported Vietnam in responding to natural disasters. In 2024, South Korea provided US$2 million in aid to help Vietnam overcome the damage caused by Typhoon No. 3 Yagi , including emergency relief and home repair and reconstruction.

By October 2025, South Korea continued to deploy a $1 million aid package for the Northern region after the big storm.

The Korean government and people expressed hope that this support will help Vietnam quickly stabilize people's lives, overcome the consequences of natural disasters and soon return to normal life.
