From May 1 to 3, the 2nd Binh Dinh Culinary Culture Festival - 2025 took place in Quy Nhon City on a grand scale, attracting tens of thousands of visitors.
Delegates performed the button-pressing ceremony to open the 2nd Binh Dinh Culinary Culture Festival in 2025.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the festival, Ms. Do Thi Dieu Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Dinh province - said that cuisine is an indispensable part of the province's journey to develop sustainable tourism.
Each dish not only captivates people but also tells the story of culture, history, and tradition of the land and people of Binh Dinh, contributing to spreading the image of local tourism to all regions.
Chef prepares tuna dish at festival
This year's festival brings together 55 booths with thousands of dishes. Of which, 34 are food booths from countries such as Thailand, Korea, Japan and provinces and cities in the country, such as: Gia Lai, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Nghe An, Dak Lak...
There are also 19 booths introducing Binh Dinh culinary culture, 16 OCOP product booths and 4 tourism promotion booths with outstanding specialties such as Bau Da wine and Binh Dinh rice paper.
The unique highlight of the festival is the culinary demonstration space, where domestic and international artisans and chefs directly prepare dishes, telling cultural stories through each flavor, bringing a unique experience to visitors.

Test run the free tourist train
From May 1 to 2, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Dinh province coordinated with Vietnam Railways Corporation, FLC Hotels & Resorts Company and Binh Dinh Tourism Association to organize a trial run of a free tourist train from Quy Nhon station to Dieu Tri station, to serve tourists during the April 30 and May 1 holidays.

The train stops at iconic destinations such as the Twin Towers, Luat Le Bridge and ends at Dieu Tri Station – a place associated with the history of the railway that unified the country.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chung, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Dinh, said that this is a multi-value tourism model. Thereby, it contributes to promoting the image of Binh Dinh to domestic and foreign tourists.
The train operates twice a day: Morning shift from 9:00 to 10:40, afternoon shift from 14:00 to 16:00, with a travel time of about 80 minutes going there and 30 minutes returning there.
