Early morning of June 3, at Thuy Loi University ( Hanoi ), the campaign launch ceremony took place enthusiastically with the participation of nearly 1,000 union members, youth and student volunteers.

According to Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union, Chairman of the Hanoi Student Association Nguyen Tien Hung, the "Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign" in 2025 of the capital's youth marks three new steps of development in the motto and method of organizing activities.

Specifically, the activities will be implemented in conjunction with the political tasks of the Central Government and Hanoi City. Notably, there will be participation in the work of arranging and organizing the apparatus and administrative units, creating consensus among the people.

Along with that, within the framework of the campaign, the capital's youth will promote the "Digital Education for the People" movement to support people to quickly access and use online public services and e-commerce; apply science and technology in managing and coordinating volunteer activities, and implementing youth projects and tasks.

In this year's campaign, the capital's youth will prioritize volunteer activities for the community in the fields of health, education, science and technology; and care for and educate teenagers and children during a safe and rewarding summer vacation.

It is known that the campaign has set out 10 basic and outstanding targets such as: organizing 250,000 union members and young people to participate in volunteer activities; supporting the elimination of 20 temporary and dilapidated houses for people with meritorious services and families in difficult circumstances; planting at least 100,000 new trees; supporting digital capacity building for at least 300,000 people and young people; recruiting 3,000 new union members and introducing 300 outstanding union members to the Party...

At the ceremony, the Hanoi Youth Union launched 10 city-level volunteer teams, associated with specific tasks and works of the campaign.

In addition, the Organizing Committee has also deployed the first "Mobile Digital Popular Education" point of this year's campaign to support people, teenagers, and students to install VNeID and iHanoi applications, contribute ideas to amending the Constitution, and register for digital signatures.

Immediately after the ceremony, delegates and volunteers from the capital visited and presented gifts to disadvantaged children at the Dong Da District Friendship Children's Home; launched environmental sanitation campaigns and promoted seasonal disease prevention in residential areas.
