On the evening of November 19, Naval Region 4 and the Naval Academy urgently mobilized more than 300 officers and soldiers along with many rescue equipment, vehicles and necessities to support people in the face of prolonged heavy rain causing deep flooding in many localities in Khanh Hoa province, seriously affecting people's lives and property.

Officers and soldiers quickly mobilized to areas with high risk of insecurity such as Suoi Hiep, Tay Nha Trang, Cam Lam, Cam Hiep commune and Suoi Dau area to participate in helping people. At the same time, coordinate with local authorities and forces to deploy rescue measures, evacuate people from dangerous areas, ensure safety of life and property.
Also on the evening of November 19, at the request of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee to respond to heavy rain and rising water, the 5th Water Special Forces Brigade (Special Forces Corps) mobilized elite special forces to support the locality with nearly 100 officers and soldiers; 5 Kamaz vehicles, 4 boats and specialized rescue equipment, and traveled more than 100km from the station to the rescue site, supporting many flooded people. By 11:00 p.m. the same day, the water special forces were present at the scene in Dien Khanh commune (Khanh Hoa province) to support and rescue people at night.
On the night of November 19, Khanh Hoa province continued to have heavy to very heavy rain in many localities such as Nha Trang city (old), Dien Dien commune, Dien An commune, Cam Lam commune, Suoi Dau commune, Khanh Vinh commune... causing floodwaters to continue to rise. Right on the night, leaders of Khanh Hoa province from the Provincial Party Secretary, Permanent Deputy Secretary to the Chairman, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee were present at key points to direct the response and rescue work.

At 11:15 p.m. on November 19, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Hydrometeorological Station issued an emergency flood warning on the Dinh Ninh Hoa River, the Cai Nha Trang River, and the Cai Phan Rang River. Rainfall is forecast to reach 100-200mm, with some places reaching over 250mm/24 hours.
Floods on Dinh Ninh Hoa River are likely to rise above alert level 3 by 0.8-1.1m, possibly higher than the historic flood in 1986 (6.58m). Floods on Cai Nha Trang River and Cai Phan Rang River also continue to rise, inundating from 1-2.5m, in some places deeper than 3m.

Currently, rescue work is still being actively, urgently and resolutely deployed by forces, to help people soon stabilize their lives and effectively respond to the complicated flood situation.
