10-year journey of 'Kind deeds': Honoring more than 2,500 people across the country

With 100 outstanding figures, representing thousands of honored examples, the gala celebrating 10 years of the program "Kindness" with the theme "Kindness Vietnam" will air at 8:10 p.m. on May 25 on VTV1 channel and VTVgo application.

The TV program "Kindness" produced by the Center for Digital Content Production and Development (VTV Digital) of Vietnam Television has had a 10-year journey of connecting hearts.

The program has traveled to 63 provinces and cities, more than 15 countries around the world , more than 1,500 trips and especially honored more than 2,500 people across the country. Regardless of age, profession or social status, the only thing they have in common is a kind heart, community-oriented actions and an unconditional love for those around them.

The gala program includes 3 chapters: "Small things extraordinary", "Family", "Country" bringing the audience to meet the characters and update them on positive changes.

Some of them include Mr. Nguyen Trung Chat - the father of 305 orphans; Mr. Tran Van Thang - the father with a "Book of thanks for life"; the mother of Lieutenant Colonel, Doctor Nguyen Le Trung who vowed to donate her corneas after passing away; Mrs. Binh - the woman who was once left with a child by a homeowner overnight, but no one came back to pick her up, and raised the little girl for 21 years with all the love of a mother...

The Gala is also very special with the story of the campaign "Forest of Kindness" launched by the program, after only 1 week, it received more than 10,000 seedlings. Mong ethnic boy Sung A Cai will receive the seedlings to carry out the project "Dream of a million green trees" to light up hope for the forests in Yen Bai .

The 10th anniversary Gala of “Decent deeds” featured performances by famous artists such as Den, Van Mai Huong, Lam Phuc, Hien VK… Emotional songs such as “Go home,” “Decent deeds – Anyone can do it,” and especially “Decent Vietnam” resonated like a melody connecting millions of Vietnamese hearts.

Inspired by stories of kindness, musician Minh Ca Ri dedicated the program to the song “There is a word of Love.” The magical sounds were first heard in studio S14. The word “Love” has magical power, enough to help us overcome the hardships of this life.

Also joining the program are People's Artist Minh Hoa, People's Artist Lan Huong, Meritorious Artist Do Ky, Meritorious Artist Quach Thu Phuong, Meritorious Artist Cao Nguyet Hang, Miss Ngoc Han, actress Hong Diem, actress Bao Thanh.../.
